Specialised Strengths / Niche Programmes

AURAK is the only university in the UAE to hold simultaneous institutional accreditations from the UAE's CAA, the US regional body SACSCOC, and the UK's QAA. All undergraduate engineering programs hold ABET accreditation. The School of Business holds AACSB accreditation. The BSBA Major in Finance is affiliated with the CFA Institute, and both the BSBA in Accounting and Finance hold ACCA exemption accreditation. AURAK offers a 3+1 program allowing students to complete the final year of their bachelor's degree at a partner US university, and a 3+2 pathway enabling completion of both a bachelor's and master's degree in the USA. All undergraduate programs include a mandatory built-in internship of 8 to 16 weeks. The university was the first in the UAE to achieve the QS 5 Stars Plus rating (2023). Programs in Engineering, Business, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Architecture are available.

Ras Al Khaimah is a growing emirate with expanding industrial, tourism, and technology sectors. The location provides access to the broader UAE job market while offering a lower cost of living compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The university has no branches; the single campus is the sole site of all programs.
