Specialised Strengths / Niche Programmes
Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business offers a new Master’s in International Business and Policy (IBP) in Dubai (starting September 2025) that combines business strategy with international affairs and policy. It is delivered jointly by McDonough + the School of Foreign Service. It also runs an Executive MBA program tailored for working professionals in the MENASA region (Middle East, North Africa & South Asia). The EMBA is designed to allow executives to continue working while learning, with monthly residencies in Dubai and some global modules
Location Advantage
The Dubai programs are offered through DIFC Academy (Dubai International Financial Centre), which is a prime business/finance hub. This gives students proximity to global banks, international firms, regulatory bodies, and policy organisations. The modular/residency-based structure means some parts of the study are held in Dubai, while others are in Washington, D.C. or Jakarta, etc. This gives exposure and networking across global centres. Also, class schedules are designed for working professionals.
